I know Doctors change all the time, but like… Matt Smith really appeals to all people. Younger kids, teenagers, young adults, older folks… He’s just really good at being silly and everyone loves a silly person. Especially kids. I know he has to change some day (apparently soon), but damn… that day will be hard.

Like… how the fuck will the next Doctor be? I really do like Matt Smith. He appeals to everyone’s weirdness in their lives. That like, you could be the oddest duck ever and still be smart and help people, make friends. He basically tells everyone that you can be the most interestingly unique person ever without having to conform. That whole “hey… screw you. bow ties are cool” type of thing. He doesn’t care what people think of him. If someone tells him off, he simply says “I’m sorry you feel that way.” He’s really good at turning an argument into making the other person feel guilty they ever tried starting anything. That line that he says along the lines of “Oh. I’m angry. Haven’t dealt with that before. I wonder what will happen.” or whatever. He just… doesn’t get mad often. He can be serious and silly at the same time. He basically tells everyone things like “You can be immature and mature at the same time while still being cool.” Liking yourself and all that jazz. He gives off a really good vibe about being yourself and liking yourself.

I don’t know what will happen with the next Doctor. I am afraid they will retract from Matt Smith and people will get a bit bitter. With the flow and look of the show now, I really can’t see anyone else but Matt. Tennant and Eccleston had a totally different feel of the show, but when everything changed. The TARDIS, the sonic, the fact that no one from the past seasons would be around at all like they had done before… it just could have happened where someone was changed all the time. But now it’s all whimsy and mind boggling and yeah… I dunno who else could play The Doctor the way Matt Smith does now and with how the show is now. 

idk if this makes any sense. I know it’s weird because my Doctor is Nine and most of my Halloween costume this year is Ten related, but I’m just worried. I’m such a mom.
